    Chuck,What the above people have failed to recogise is that the SY3240 is actually a manifold mounted valve so it has no threaded ports at all in fact the symbol lable SMC have placed on it won’t help since all the galleries are slotted at the bot

    SMC part number AN120-M3 is a sintered bronze muffler with M3 thread. I assume a muffler is what you’re looking for? Find your local distributor at http://www.smcusa.com or http://www.smcworld.com

    Most M5 fittings will fit and seal in a 10-32 thread with out any probem only when you get a long thread will you have problems.

    Rule of thumb:10/32 male will fit into an M5 female but not the other way around.Regards.
