My company is a customer conveyor mfr with gross sales around $10million. We do pneumatic options like pushoffs and lifts maybe 10-20 times per year.
Historically we have utilized SMC, Bimba, Norgren etc with no real rhyme or reason to it, and haven't gotten much of a feeling for an advantage to SMC vs Norgren on valves and air line prep equpment we typically provide.
We are now using Inventor to model these options in 3D. Both SMC and Norgren websites seem to provide good models on the fly, though SMC seems more complete and thorough in our limited experience.
What is the reputation of these two in the market? What about the general price comparisons? Warranty? Service and support up to and after the sale? Which is more prevalent in industry?
