A Flow Control (Controlled flow to the “Valve” Free Flow Bypass Check Valve return) will do what you want. The 12 VDC Solenoid valve should be a 3-Way to allow for letting air off the “Valve.”
adminParticipantThis cylinder is now obsolete and is replaced by the PRA/182080/100. If you still want datasheet please send me your fax number and I’ll fax it to you. I don’t believe there are electronic versions available
adminParticipantI have the data sheet for this, if you email me I will attach a copy for you. Regards Ian Macmillan
adminParticipantThe valve is a S/534/40. It is a 3/8 BSP 2 Port 2 Position Pilot Spring Popet valve in Brass. You may still get this from IMI Norgren. Regards Ian
adminParticipantContact PSI in the UK who are the UK official distributors

adminParticipantCheck with your local Fluid Power distributor. They usually design circuits to get the business. I did it for 35 years. Now I charge 0.00 per hour for the same thing and enjoy it a lot more. You need more info than you gave in your post. Something like a sequence of events with the cylinders labeled “A” “B” “C” an use + for extend and – for retract. Like this: Depress Start Button A+, B+, C-, C+, A-, B- Continue until Start Button reversed. With that information a circuit can be designed to make it happen.
adminParticipantTry this site http://www.ifps.org and look at the link to Eductaion/Training and other links Also try: http://www.rosscontrols.com/index.html http://www.nfpa.com/training http://www.rosscontrols.com/FLUPOW.htm http://www.norgren.com They all have Pneumatics training info.
adminParticipantYou can use a Proportional Directional Control valve and have infinitely variable speeds. I can’t help you on a way to do it with radio signals but I’m sure it can be done. Try ehese sites for Pneumatic Proportional Directional Control valves: http://www.festo.com http://www.norgren.com
adminParticipantThat looks like a Telemechanique part number. They were bought by Parker so try the http://www.parker.com site or contact your local distributor.
adminParticipantI have learned that this part came from a World Cup filling machine. Our local distributor is coming up empty with that part #, Any suggestions???
adminParticipantThe part number I found that looks close to your number and is PXB B2921 or PXB B292. Here is the link to the logic page. Just click on the catalog pdf and go to page 59 http://www.parker.com/frameless/default.asp?substDivId=&FamID=870&DivID=37&GID=0&Type=2&ID=37&TechID=0 Good Luck
adminParticipantThanks a bunch Barry! I’ve been trying to hunt this down for a good time now and this forum seemed like a long shot! Again, I thank you. Mahalo, Ryan
