For applications where the source pressure 0.5 to 2psi, can one use a pilot-valve solenoid valve or do these types of valves require greater source pressure? The alternative is a direct-operating solenoid valve such as those made by Numatics.Tha
Pilot assisted valves usually require a pressure greater than 20 psi depending on the valve. This is based on the return spring. Direct operating is the only way to go.
Contact Versa Valve. They have air operated valves that use a diaphragm actuator for very low pilot signals as you are asking about.www.versa-valves.comRegards.
we manufacture direct acting solenoid valve especially for very low pressure application.kindly give us the details that is media, flow rate required at the lowest working pressure, voltage, port size, any particular constrainst towards material o
