I’m working on a project with several aspects using compressed air, all of them sharing the same tank. There was a failure on one of the components which caused all air to bleed from the tank and of course the compressor couldn’t keep the pressure up so the whole machine shut down. Is there some sort of device we can install on each circuit that can prevent this in the future? I’m picturing something that will allow a reasonable air flow at all times, but in the event of a completely open line it would shut off that circuit. Does that sort of thing exist? Thanks!
There are a couple ways of handling this. 1-Air fuse, this will cut off the supply in case of a rapid failure. 2-Pressure swtch to operate 2/2 nc valve held open
Thanks Barry, it took me a while to come back to this project but thats very helpful!
