I'm trying to put together a pneumatic dead end system, keep in mind, this is for an automotive use. Here is a quick, crude diagram:

pressure source->regulator->12vdc solenoid->XX->valve

The regulator will be at anywhere from 20-50 psi depending on conditions. After the 12v solenoid is opened, said pressure will act on the back of the valve at the end of the system to help hold it closed. XX represents what I need. I need something to go in that position and control how fast the previously regulated pressure builds on the back of the valve, but not affect the pressure set by the regulator after the pressure source. This needs to be purely mechanical, and adjustable from instant pressure build to slow pressure build. Is there such an item?
